Its <u class=\"underline\"><em class=\"italic\">MotorTrend<\/em><\/u><u class=\"underline\">-tested 10.8-second 0\u201360 time<\/u> was less \u201claunch\u201d and more \u201cseveral polite requests to gather speed.\u201d Fuel economy landed in the mid-teens (14\u201316\/18\u201322 mpg city\/highway using today\u2019s correction factors), with real-world range depending heavily on patience and prayer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"transition-colors motion-reduce:transition-none typography-body2 md:typography-body1 md:text-neutral-2 dark:md:text-neutral-6 text-neutral-2 dark:text-neutral-6\" data-ids=\"Typography\" data-component=\"TextElement\" data-nitrous-content-readable-section=\"true\">The 2025 Bronco Sport, even in its humblest 1.5-liter three-cylinder form, does better, both at the pump and on the stopwatch. Its 180 hp is enough to dust the old truck, and the 250-hp turbo-four model <u class=\"underline\">snaps off 6.5-second 0-60 runs<\/u>. And despite the mass and muscle, efficiency can climb as high as 29 mpg highway with the base engine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"transition-colors motion-reduce:transition-none typography-body2 md:typography-body1 md:text-neutral-2 dark:md:text-neutral-6 text-neutral-2 dark:text-neutral-6\" data-ids=\"Typography\" data-component=\"TextElement\" data-nitrous-content-readable-section=\"true\">Performance has taken a generational leap. The slowest 2025 Explorer is still significantly quicker than the fastest first-gen.
